We are now looking for a manager for our shift maintenance at our production unit in Frövi.

Billerud Frövi is a world-leading manufacturer of packaging board and liquid board intended for users with very high demands on efficient, creative, and functional packaging solutions. We are looking for an experienced and dedicated leader who, with a focus on safety and efficient production, wants to be part of our journey towards becoming the pulp and board mill of tomorrow.

As the manager of our shift maintenance organization, you will be responsible for 18 employees divided into 6 different shift teams. Each shift team consists of a team with two automation electricians and one mechanic. The group works to ensure the operational availability of our production around the clock, all year round. As the group manager, you will coordinate maintenance efforts in the form of preventive and corrective maintenance. You will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient maintenance in our 24/7 organization.

In this role, you will work during the day and lead shift workers. This requires effective leadership from you as a manager. At Billerud, we strive for sustainable leadership where you, as a manager, are expected to deliver on four promises to all your employees:

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Planning preventive maintenance, maintenance work, and other tasks for execution during shifts.
• Short- and long-term staffing planning to ensure coverage for shift maintenance.
• Personnel and financial responsibility for the work group.
• Responsible for conducting employee discussions, establishing and implementing training and development plans.
• Develop the strategic direction and take responsibility for ensuring that decisions are effectively implemented in the work group.

In this role, you will report to the Section Manager Automation. Start date is by agreement. Working hours are during the day.

Qualifications

To succeed in the role, you have:

• Completed upper secondary or post-secondary education in, for example, electrical and automation or industrial maintenance. Alternatively, education or experience that Billerud deems equivalent.
• Competence in electrical and automation.
• Several years of documented experience in a managerial position with personnel responsibility.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Good IT skills.

It is advantageous if you have:

• Previous experience in leading shift workers.
• Previous experience from the process industry.
• Experience with SAP and/or Maximo for maintenance planning and work order management.

Personal qualities
